Thrivent is a unique kind of membership organization called a fraternal benefit society. By definition, a fraternal benefit society is a not-for-profit organization that provides insurance to its members and has to carry out social, intellectual, educational, charitable, benevolent, moral, fraternal, patriotic or religious purposes for the benefit of its members and the public. As a fraternal benefit society, Thrivent members recieve help on their wise with money journeys.

After a National search, The Blake Project was selected to work with senior leadership in two key areas – Mission, Vision and Values and Brand Positioning. Both workshops were instrumental in giving the organization a tighter strategic focus and a more advantageous market position at a time of increased competitive presure.
